What Your Bloodwork Actually Covers.

Most panels check a TSH, maybe an estrogen level, and stop there. If each number lands somewhere inside the range, you're told you're fine.

Yours runs 21 tests — more than 50 markers. Seven thyroid markers, not one. Fasting insulin, which almost nobody orders and which tells me a great deal. Cortisol. Your sex hormones, measured with the gold-standard assay. Inflammation, iron, and your nutrient status.

I order all of it because your body doesn't run these systems separately, and I can't read the pattern if I'm only looking at one piece of it.

Your labs come first, so that by the time we sit down together, we're looking at real information instead of guessing. Then you get a full hour — your results, your symptoms, your history, and what all of it actually means.

If you want a real evaluation and a clear, medically guided plan — not another fifteen-minute visit that ends in "everything looks fine" — this is what I do.

This is likely a fit if you:

This is likely a fit if you:

  • Feel exhausted even when you've slept
  • Can't move the weight, no matter what you do
  • Are foggy, unmotivated, or struggling to concentrate
  • Have noticed changes in your mood, your sleep, or your libido
  • Have been told your labs are "normal" — but you know you don't feel like yourself
  • Suspect something is off with your hormones, thyroid, or metabolism

Ready to Get Answers?

If you're tired of being told you're fine when you know you're not, we should talk. We'll start with a 60-minute consultation — your labs, your symptoms, your history, and a clear explanation of what's actually going on.
You'll leave understanding your own body, with a plan for what comes next.

This is the question I hear most, and it's the reason many of my patients find me. "Normal" is a wide range built to catch disease — not to tell you how you're meant to feel. I don't read your results in isolation or against a single reference range. I read them against your symptoms, your history, and how your body is actually functioning. Normal labs and feeling terrible can absolutely coexist. My job is to look at the whole picture and find what's actually driving it.

What if my labs come back “normal”?

Send them over. If you've had bloodwork in the last six months, I'll review it and let you know whether it covers what I need. In most cases it won't — standard panels leave out the markers that matter most here — but if yours does, there's no reason to repeat it.

What if I've already had labs done recently?

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need lab work before my consultation?

Yes. Lab work is required prior to your consultation so your results can be reviewed during your visit. This allows for a more thorough and productive evaluation.

How do I complete my lab work?

When you schedule your consultation, you will choose between using insurance or a cash-pay lab option. You can complete labs at LabCorp, HNL, or another lab of your choice. If using a different lab, please have results faxed to (570) 761-6077.

What if I want to use my insurance for labs?

You are welcome to use your insurance for lab work. Simply bring your lab order to a lab that accepts your insurance and present your insurance card at the time of your visit. Please note that insurance coverage for lab testing is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan. It is the patient’s responsibility to verify coverage and any potential out-of-pocket costs with their insurance provider. For convenience, a cash-pay option is available for lab testing.

Do you accept insurance?

Vital Moon Wellness is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance for consultations or visits. Lab work may be completed using your insurance, depending on your coverage.

How long does it take to get lab results?

Timing can vary depending on the lab, but most results are available within a few to 10 days. Instructions are provided to ensure your labs are completed in time for your consultation.

What to expect during and after your visit

Your consultation is a 60-minute visit where we review your lab results in detail and discuss your symptoms and health history. This allows for a comprehensive evaluation of factors that may be affecting your hormones, thyroid, or metabolism. Based on your evaluation, individualized recommendations are discussed during your visit. Depending on your needs and goals, ongoing treatment options and structured care programs may also be recommended.
